  1. The Polish Committee of National Liberation (PCNL) was ostensibly appointed by the State National Council (Krajowa Rada Narodowa) and held a few meetings in Moscow before moving to the liberated territory. After the proclamation of the manifesto, the PCNL was installed in Lublin on 2 Aug 1944.
  2. Baptized (4/17 Oct 1909): Edward Bolesław Osóbka; surname officially changed (1946): Osóbka-Morawski (used before the change was formalized).
