| [1] | The State Council of German-Austria (Deutschösterreichischer Staatsrat) was assigned to exercise governmental and executive authority in accordance with a resolution of the Provisional National Assembly (Provisorische Nationalversammlung) of 30 Oct 1918, also providing for the establishment of a standing committe, the Directory of the State Council (Staatsratsdirektorium). On 12 Nov 1918 the State Council took over the authority formerly exercised by the Emperor of Austria. |
