[1] | The adoption of the style and titles was authorized by the Royal Titles Act, 1981, passed by the Parliament of Antigua and Barbuda (House of Representatives on 5 Nov 1981, Senate on 12 Nov 1981, assented to on 19 Nov 1981). The change was effected by a proclamation issued by the Governor General on 11 Feb 1982 (effective on publication in Antigua and Barbuda Official Gazette, No. 10, 1 Mar 1982, p. 39). |
