- The Provincial Convention was dissolved on 22 Apr 1775.
- The end of the term of Livingston is given according to the date of dissolution of the (second) Provincial Congress fixed by a resolution of 18 Oct 1775. The last session presided by Livingston in person was held 25 Aug 1775. He did not resume chairmanship and his functions were exercised by presidents pro tempore: Nathaniel Woodhull (sessions from 26 Aug 1775 to 27 Oct 1775 inclusively) and Abraham Yates (sessions: 2 Nov 1775, 3 Nov 1775, and 4 Nov 1775). The Congress could not achieve quorum after 4 Nov 1775.
- The second Provincial Congress convened 14 Nov 1775, but lacked quorum to 6 Dec 1775.
- The end of the term of Woodhull is given according to the date of dissolution of the (second) Provincial Congress fixed by a resolution of 18 Oct 1775.
- The term of the (third) Provincial Congress was fixed not to exceed 12 months starting from 14 May 1776 in accordance with a resolution of 12 Mar 1776, but another resolution of 30 Jun 1776 appointed 8 Jul 1776 for the meeting of the (fourth) Congress which achieved a quorum 9 Jul 1776.
