  1. On 16 Nov 1775, the Committee was authorized to sit until the meeting of the next Congress (21 Dec 1775).
  2. Weare was elected Chairman of the Committee on 20 Jan 1776 and was re-elected each time when a new Committee was appointed (1776-1783), continuing in office during the recess of the General Court and, from 13 Jun 1777, also during the sessions of the General Court; served until 29 May 1784 when the Committee held its last session (Weare was absent 28 May 1784 and, probably, 29 May 1784).
