Stephens was appointed the President of the Province of Georgia by a resolution of the Trustees passed on 10/21 Jun 1743 in London. After receiving his commission in Georgia, he took the oath of office on 20/31 Oct 1743. |

Stephens was forced to stop attending the meetings of the President and Assistants in Council on 26 Sep/7 Oct 1750 and informed the board of his retirement on 4/15 Oct 1750. Starting from 26 Sep/7 Oct 1750 Parker chaired the meetings, pending the proclamation of his formal appointment as Vice President. |

Parker was appointed Vice President of the Province of Georgia by a resolution of the Trustees passed on 26 Jun/7 Jul 1750 in London. After receiving his commission in Georgia, he took the oath of office on 9/20 Nov 1750. Stephens formally continued in office as President of the Province to Sep/Oct? 1751. |

Parker was appointed President of the Province of Georgia by a resolution of the Common Council of the Trustees passed on 24 May/4 Jun 1751 in London. His commission was received in Georgia probably in Sep/Oct 1751. The minutes of the meetings of the President and Assistants in Council between 6/17 Sep 1751 and 11 May 1752 are not known to be extant. |

Parker is recorded attending the meeting of the President and Assistants on 2 Jun 1752. He died probably in Jun/Jul 1752 (Georgia Colonial Records, 26:408) and was succeeded by Graham who is first mentioned as the President of the Province at the meeting of 6 Dec 1752. |
