Nāmī Beg was appointed Head of State by an order of the High Commissioner of the French Republic (dated 26 Apr 1926, Beirut). Nāmī Beg issued a proclamation on assumption of office on 28 Apr 1926 and arrived from Beirut to Damascus on 29 Apr 1926 and was installed in office. |
