[1] A royal decree-law of 31 Oct 1978 provided for the election of a Junta de Comunidades de la región castellano-manchega. The standing orders approved by the Junta of Communities on 29 Jul 1979 also referred to this body as Junta de Comunidades de la Región Castellano-Manchega (capitalization as in original document). Starting from the day when the Junta was formally constituted (11 Dec 1978), the style in official use has been Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha. It was finally included in the Statute of Autonomy of Castile-La Mancha of 1982.
[2] Fernández-Galiano was elected at the session of the Junta of Communities on 28 Nov 1978. A formal inauguration followed on 11 Dec 1978.
[3] The resignation of Bono Martínez (dated 17 Apr 2004) was submitted to and acknowledged by the presidency of the Cortes de Castile-La Mancha on 17 Apr 2004, and approved by a royal decree of 17 Apr 2004.
