- The Anti-Fascist Assembly for the National Liberation of Macedonia was recognized the highest legislative and executive authority of Macedonia in accordance with a resolution approved by the Anti-Fascist Assembly for the National Liberation of Macedonia at the first session held on 2 Aug 1944. The president and members of the Presidium were appointed on the same day. The Presidium was constituted at its first meeting on 6 Aug 1944.
