- Stučka was elected Chairman of the Government at a clandestine meeting in Riga 4 Dec 1918; originally in opposition to the authorities of Latvia; from 17 Dec 1918 claims authority over all Latvia, establishing the seat of government in Riga 4 Jan 1919.
- Left the national territory c. 3 Jan 1920 and approved the dissolution of state bodies 13 Jan 1920 in exile.
