14 Dec 1995 the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Srpska formed a state in accordance with the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Dayton Peace Agreement), approved and signed by the representatives of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federation of Bosnia and Hercegovina and the Republic of Srpska at a public ceremony held on 14 Dec 1995 in Paris; the Constitution entered into force upon signature of the Agreement as required by Art.
