Van Diemen's Land: Lieutenant Governors: 1825-1855
The Lieutenant Governors and the Administrators of the Government of the Island of Van Diemen's Land exercised the functions of the absent Governor of Van Diemen's Land who was appointed, but did not take office, serving concurrently as Governor of New South Wales.
