The resignations of President of the Republic Vásquez and Vice President Alfonseca were accepted by the Asamblea Nacional on 2 Mar 1930. In accordance with the Constitution of 1924 (as amended in 1929) the functions of the President of the Republic devolved on Secretario de Estado de lo Interior y Policía Estrella who took oath of office as president on 3 Mar 1930. |
