[1] Von Reinhard was appointed a member of the Swiss delegation to the Congress of Vienna on 12 Sep 1814. He presided at the session of the Diet on 17 Sep 1814 and then departed for Vienna. The sessions of 20 and 21 Sep 1814 were presided by Hans Conrad Finsler, the second representative of Zürich. On 23 Sep 1814 the presidency was formally transferred to von Escher (zweiter Bürgermeister of Zürich 24 Jun 1814 - 12 Dec 1814) as requested by the Lower Council (Kleiner Rat) of Zürich.
[2] After the death of von Escher on 12 Dec 1814 and pending the election of Bürgermeister of Zürich, Hans Conrad Finsler presided at the sessions of 12 Dec 1814 and 14 Dec 1814. David von Wyß was elected zweiter Bürgermeister of Zürich 16 Dec 1814 and assumed the functions of chief executive of the canton in the absence of Amtsbürgermeister von Reinhard. Von Wyß was approved as President of the Diet on 21 Dec 1814 and immediately assumed the chair.
[3] Mousson declined (re-)election as a member of the Governing Council of Zürich on 3 Apr 1845, when Furrer was elected Amtsbürgermeister. Furrer took chair as President of the Diet on 5 Apr 1845.
[4] The term of Ochsenbein as the President of the Government (Regierungsratspräsident|Président du Conseil d'État) of Bern expired on 31 May 1848. He was succeeded in this office by Funk (from 1 Jun 1848) who took chair as President of the Diet on 2 Jun 1848.
[5] The last session of the Diet took place on 22 Sep 1848 when it was adjourned sine die.
