[1] The exchange of ratifications was scheduled to take place on 25 Jul 1806 in Munich, but it was delayed due to the late submission of the instruments of ratification. The minutes of the exchange were nevertheless backdated to 25 Jul 1806.
[2] Art. VI of the treaty provided for 1 Jan 1871 as the effective date, but the ratification by the Landtag of Bavaria was completed only on 21 Jan 1871.
